Team Context & Mission
You will spearhead backend resilience, high-throughput data processing, and cloud orchestration across our mission-critical enterprise systems.
What You'll Do & Ship
- ▪Architect high-throughput microservices, public APIs, and background job processing pipelines.
- ▪Tune relational databases (PostgreSQL), design caching layers (Redis), and establish event streams (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- ▪Ensure 99.99% system availability, establish distributed tracing, and automate cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Docker/K8s.
- ▪Conduct rigorous code reviews, mentor senior engineers, and set technical standards for backend reliability.
What We're Looking For
- ✓6+ years building and scaling mission-critical distributed systems and backend architectures.
- ✓Expert knowledge of Go and/or TypeScript/Node.js, with deep understanding of concurrency, memory management, and network I/O.
- ✓Proven track record of optimizing database queries, transactions, and partitioning for large-scale datasets.
- ✓Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Hetzner, Contabo) and container orchestration.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
- +Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS databases or financial ledger systems.
- +Hands-on expertise with infrastructure-as-code and zero-downtime deployment pipelines.

$95,000 – $140,000 / yr
